Vice-President Dr Sai Mauk Kham enjoys archery, blindfold chess and table tennis events

Vice-President Dr Sai Mauk Kham enjoyed competitions of athletes in thearchery, blindfold chess and table tennis events of the 7th ASEAN Para Games, here, today.

At the Wunna Theikdi Archery Ground, the Vice-President viewed participation of the archers in thefinal match between Thai and Malaysian teams in the recurve open men’s team event. Thailand beat Malaysia 206-199.

The Vice-President presented medals and gifts to first prize winning Myanmar, second to Thailand and third to Malaysian teams in the compound open men’s event. The Vice-President gave K 100,000 each to five Myanmar archers.

Chairman of the Leading Committee of the Games Union Minister U Tint Hsan gave medals and gifts to archers from Thai and Malaysian teams.

On arrival at Wunna Theikdi billiards and snooker stadium, the Vice-President enjoyed the participation of athletes in the men’s event B1.

He also watched the match between Vietnam and Indonesia in the women’s team class 7-9 event, the match between Vietnam and Indonesia in the men’s class 8 event and the match between Thailand and Malaysia in men’s class 6-7 event of table tennis at the tennis court of the sports complex.

The Vice-President cordially greeted the Vice-President of SEA Table Tennis Federation and players.
